What we do—and don’t—collect

Pryloo collects only the minimum data needed to deliver clear price insights. Nothing more.

What we collect

  • Product and price data

    Title, visible price, currency, variant, image, and supported page metadata.

  • Browsing context

    The current page URL and domain only when you explicitly analyze or save.

  • Price observations

    Validated price points tied to the item you saved.

  • Extension settings

    Locale preference and configuration needed for your account.

  • Reliability data

    Minimal operational events without raw secrets or arbitrary page content.

What we never collect

  • Unrelated personal identity

    No contact data is read from shopping pages.

  • Payment or financial data

    No card numbers, bank details, or checkout history.

  • Passwords or credentials

    The content script never receives your sign-in tokens.

  • Private communications

    No email, chat, or message content.

  • Sensitive personal data

    No health, religion, race, or other sensitive attributes.

Security and data principles

Can I access the data Pryloo has about me?

Your dashboard exposes watched items, observations, alerts, collections, and purchases available to your account.

Can I export my data?

A dedicated export workflow is not implemented yet and must be added before a final legal claim is made.

Can I delete my data?

Watched items can be removed through the app. Full account-deletion workflow remains a pre-launch requirement.

How long is my data retained?

A final retention schedule requires legal review; the engineering principle is to keep only data needed for the service.
